Complete shock! That was my first reaction. I felt a new, unusual pain and knew something was not right. I went straight to the hospital and walked out a few hours later as a testicular cancer patient. No symptoms, and no idea what just happened.
With hindsight, I now know that I was lucky. I had a great medical team and a supportive network of family and friends to get me through. Every guy will have their own experiences and ways to deal with this experience. When I went through my experience, I did not know anyone that had testicular cancer. I wish I did, as I did not know what to expect.
That is why I am here. To help you. To hear you out as I can empathise with what you may be going through.
